Prologue (2022)

Prologue, a solo performed by dance artist Alex Ledger, was specifically choreographed for Durham Fringe Festival 2022. It was performed across three nights to audiences at Assembly Rooms Theatre, in a double bill of dance alongside Pelican Theatre - a dynamic, exciting dance theatre company led by Newcastle based dance artists Pagan Hunt and Ellie Trow.

Prologue is just that; the untold story before Waiting on It. The racing sands of time, the struggle to accept the patience and the release that can be found when we accept that sometimes we must let go of the need to control our own timelines and maybe good things DO come to those who wait …
